Chick Corea and Foo Fighters??

I thought chic looked very bad like he aged a ton and was overweight! He needs to loose the Hawaiin shirt look, it's terrible looking, It's like he still dresses like its the DX7 days. What the hell is he thinking? At least he didn't have on his white slacks though!

OUCH! I've got to chime in on the minority side here - I love Foo Fighters. I've never seen Chick before though - from the way he looked I could have sworn they were playing with Jerry Lewis!

PS - that "idot drummer" is actually pretty damn good

Yeah, I like both the Foo-Fighters and Chick Corea on there own but put them together and you basically have Bruce Hornsby and The Range on a bad night. [img]wink.gif[/img]

On the one hand, you have to applaud a man with that level of skill, who is willing to hang himself out like that. That was a gutsy (NO PUN INTENDED!) move.

On the other hand, you want to find the guy that talked Chick into it and slap him into tommorow! Then slap Chick for taking the gig!

All that aside, I thought that that was the worst sounding piano I have ever heard!

Look for Chick to come back with a vengeance on his new album with the Elektric band. Gut size won't be in any of our minds when we are peeling our chins off the floor, analyzing Dave's perfect chops, comparing Him to how Vinnie? I think you know where I am going with that!

Ew. Bad comnparison . Even tho it was largely pop; musically speaking, Hornsby & da Range w John Molo on kit were WAY better than those guys, esp live.

Really, i like some of the pop stuff, but the Grammaw's need to have more that encompasses other more cultured music styles like jazz, fusion, funk, latin, ethnic/world, classical, etc [yeah, right]...but then you'd be there all friggin night instead of just the tedious 3+1/2 of largely "pop, blowin' rainbows up each udda's arses..."...or how about a Toto live perf...what's the matter, not "en vogue" [making money/popular/on the charts] enough anymore?! How about a completely separate show for these other categories [another "yeah, right"]...

...BUT SERIOUSLY - why don't they just have the freekin Elektric Band on the @#$%&! Grammies?! Because it'd prob make most of the other acts sh1te their friggin training panties... ...[not to say that there aren't other musicians at or close to this calibre who don't play w many of the artists there] ..."jez tellin it lak it tiz, fokes"...
